Just Write by Charley, 3SB

When I was out walking, I came across a small, dark cave.  Brave and curious, I peered in.  It was pitch black in there so it was hard to see.  But then in the corner of my eye I saw a tiny spark.

  1. Great job! I read your paragraph to my eight year old son and we live all the way across the pond in the USA. Would you like to know what his excited response was after he heard it?
    "Where's the rest of the story? I need to know what the spark is!".
    You must have thought very carefully about what words to use to draw the reader in, as I could easily picture the setting in my head. Very well done and keep up the good work!
