Ostia Setting Description by Jack B, 4CP

It was a lovely, scorching day in Ostia, where everything was busy on another Market Monday. As usual he could hear people watching chariot races in taverns, gamblers gambling for money and people cursing under their breath as kids sea-gulled around, pestering the grown-ups.

He could see the dusty hills of Ostia spurting out dust on the wonderful landscape as carts hurtled down the paths, with people scattering to try and avoid them. Then there’s Decimus Caesar’s jewellery shop, which is always the fullest and sometimes he has to call the cops because of robberies. There was the ordinary bustle of people around the snake stone, found by his uncle, the Emperor Julius Caesar.
